MAC ATTACK

Visiting our brother McGavin on Sundays is one thing we absolutely love. He’s a lot of fun to be around. Last week we took him to Wheeler Farm and walked around a bit. He had a fun time laughing at the geese. We still believe that they were communicating to one another in a secret language not understood by us. If you’ve been around Mac you would understand.

      

    

This week we walked around Anzak Park and then down to Crestwood Park. Colton tried to get Macadoo on a swing but he wasn’t in the mood. He liked going over to the bridge and listening to the loud rush of water going by though. He was really happy. Let’s just say we got “Mac Attacked”. We love you McGavin!

          

LAW DAY RUN

This marks our 4th year doing the Law Day Run together. Actually it’s only the 3rd because 1 year we had to miss the run due to a friends wedding that morning. Either way the tradition continues on. We had lots of friends and family there to run the race with us as well. Mandy walked the race with her Mother and Colton stayed alongside his Dad. Mandy was super proud that she finished in under an hour being nearly 8 months pregnant. Yay you! Thanks to everyone who came out. We had a blast!

  

    

MOTHERLOVER

Happy Mother’s Day to all of the wonderful mothers out there. Today we went to visit both of our mothers at their homes and spend time with them. We are so grateful for them and all that they do. They are amazing women. But today was Mandy’s official 1st Mother’s Day. Only a few more weeks till we get to see our bundle of joy. Mandy is going to be a great mother. We hope you all had a great day as well.

POOR JAVI

If you’re a soccer fan in Utah then you have by now heard about the injury to Javier Morales. A season ending injury that has taken not only Salt Lake’s but one of the best midfielders in the MLS. We were at the game Saturday afternoon when it happened. Poor Javi. Even a win in this instance feels like a loss. A huge one! Absolutely gruesome.

THOMAS FAMILY GRADUATION

How cool is that? Colton’s sister, Brooklyn and her husband, Kyle graduated together! We couldn’t be any happier for them. They are just Super Duper! What an accomplishment. They are on to great things together. The family gathered for dinner at the only place fitting for such a grand event. You guessed it. Chuck-A-Rama. The choice is yours right? We had a lot of fun that night as we said goodbye to the new graduates who are now bound for CO for the summer. We love you!

                      

 

MANDYS 1st BABY SHOWER

You know it’s coming soon when the baby showers start arriving. We can’t wait for little Peanut to arrive. Colton’s two twin sisters threw Mandy her 1st baby shower Wednesday evening and it was a huge success. They did such an amazing job! They planned it all, made all of the decorations, and prepared all of the food by themselves (Which took endless hours). They are so sweet. We had so much fun. There were some of Mandy’s good friends from RQN as well as some family members from Colton’s side. Jewelya also made Peanut an adorable quilt with matching pillows and Jeanne handmade a gorgeous car seat cover along with some stylish cloths. Colton was very excited that he received the Baby Bjorn from Kathy. The list goes on but we are so thankful for all of the many gifts and support that we received. Simply the best! Thank you Thank you Thank you!

         

   

   

VEGAS GETAWAY

The weather has been crazy lately so we decided that we needed a getaway. Plus, Mandy wanted to do one last trip just the 2 of us before the baby arrived. We were able to score 3 nights for free which also made the decision a whole lot easier. We left Friday morning where it was raining and forecasted to snow the next day, and headed for sunny Las Vegas.

Friday evening we had dinner with Misty and Jon and there little newborn Mason. They are one cute family. Saturday we spent the day relaxing by the pool and then downtown for a show and a walk along the strip. There are some crazy people down there.

    

          

Sunday we went for a hike at our favorite place, Red Rock Canyon. The weather was perfect which we couldn’t complain about and the hike was pretty fun. Mandy was proud that she did the whole 3 miles without having to pee once. Yay you!
